Week 101: There have been a lot of special spiritual experiences this week.

This week we were able to meet our new mission President and Wife Sister Wadsworth and President Wadsworth. We drove down to Helena on Friday to have a meeting with them and there was a great spirit there. They truly have been called to help this mission reach its full potential.

There have been a lot of special spiritual experiences this week. AS we were out tracting we were called out to by a lady who said, "Come over here brothers. Can I get you a glass of water?"
She ended up being very interested in the messages that we were sharing about the Restoration and is inviting us back tonight to share more about the Restoration of the Gospel.

District meeting went really well. We learned a lot about how to ask inspired questions to our investigators and listen to their responses with real intent. We also learned how we can do better in our companionships at teaching in unity. And we received insight on how to teach people who don't know all the terms we use or who have never had a Christian background.
Thursday we taught a lady who wanted to come back to church. We talked a lot about prayer and scripture study and how they will help her. She wanted to come to church as well.

Saturday was a really good day. We had a baptism! Casey was baptized and my last companion came back up to Kalispell from his home to do the baptism. It was really weird seeing him without a name tag and after the service was over not in dress clothes.
It was a great 4th of July. There weren't any fireworks because of the dry weather. The entire Flathead valley had a ban placed on fireworks, but it was more important to celebrate the baptism of Casey than it was to see some bright lights in the sky with loud noises.

Sunday was good. The church was full of people all day because of the holiday weekend. There were a lot of people from Canada who came down for a vacation. We also were able to talk with Ginger again. We recently moved her into her home. She made us dinner as a thank you. She also is interested in learning more about Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, and the prophets and apostles that we have on the Earth today.
We have a great week planned for the upcoming week. Hope everyone was able to enjoy the holiday weekend and celebrate the freedoms we have been given.

Oh, and the high councilman assigned to the 3rd ward that we serve in is from Blackfoot. His parents used to drive the bus that I rode to school. It is a crazy small world. I have found that several times in my life and also now more especially as we are serving in the mission.
Hope everyone has a great week.

With love,
Elder Jaden Davis
